The present investigation called “Relationship between the productive capacities and the surplus of the cocoa producer in the Province of La Convencion, district of Maranura, year 2019“, has as its main objective to determine the influence of the productive capacities on the surplus of the cocoa producer of the district of Maranura, based on the fact that agriculture and the sale of fruit trees is the main activity in the geographical area in question, fulfilling an important role in the family income of producers. This research is quantitative, has a non-experimental design, since the study variables are not manipulated and with a correlational-descriptive scope. For the purposes of this research, data collection was carried out using the instrument that comes to be the questionnaire and as a technique used the survey, which was applied to 42 cocoa producers, the same that are the study sample extracted from a population total of 103 producers, the information obtained was processed using SPSS and EXCEL software; The results of the investigation show that 45.24% of the producers show a surplus that varies between S / 601.00 and S / 900.00 soles. At the conclusion of the present investigation, it is concluded that there is a direct relationship between the study variables. However, not all the indicators taken into account for the established model show this relationship, two of them reflect an indirect relationship, although not significantly.
