The objective of this study is to analyze the contribution of police performance in the enforcement of protection measures related to domestic violence in the District of San Sebastián, Cusco, during the year 2021. The research is framed in a qualitative approach and its type is legal descriptive. To carry out this research, a documentary approach will be used, since data without numerical measurement will be used and it will focus on a specific legal phenomenon. It will seek to understand this phenomenon without measuring variables, analyzing and interpreting asegment of the legal reality. The research design will be contextual, focusing on the context ofthe District of San Sebastian, province and department of Cusco, during the year 2021. The scenario where the research will be carried out corresponds to the context of the District of San Sebastian, province and department of Cusco, during the year 2021. The unit of study will be the contribution of the performance of the police function in the enforcement of protection measures related to domestic violence in that district. To achieve the proposed objectives, in addition to the analysis of doctrine, jurisprudence, comparative law and casuistry, interviews will be conducted with specialized law operators. These will include the Family Judge,lawyers specialized in family law, psychologists and social workers from CEM Mujer and UDAVIT, as well as members of the San Sebastian Police Station. The selection of these participants will be done through non-probabilistic purposive sampling or at the choice of the researcher. The data collection techniques to be used will be: analysis of texts of doctrine, jurisprudence and comparative law, documentary analysis of family violence processes in terms of the control of compliance with protection measures, and surveys directed at legal operators. Thedata collection instruments will include text analysis sheets, documentary analysis sheets and questionnaires.
