The research entitled “LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE ON THE NUTRITIONAL STATUS IN MOTORS OF CHILDREN UNDER 5 YEARS OLD THAT GO TO THE POST OF HEALTH OF TINTA-SICUANI-CUSCO 2017“. It aims to: Determine the level of knowledge about the nutritional status in mothers of children under 5 who attend the Health Care of Tinta. It was a descriptive and cross-sectional study, the population was constituted by 101 mothers of children under 5 years who attend the Health Care of Tinta, the sample was 79 mothers. The technique used was the interview and the instrument was a survey. The results that were found within the general characteristics of the mothers of children under 5 years who attend the Health Care of Tinta was found that the age of mothers from 20 to 30 years with 44%; mothers' education level is high school with 40% and 43% are housewife; number of children who have mothers are 44% are 2-3 children; marital status of mothers 50% are cohabiting; the monthly income of 47% is 400-600 Peruvian Sol – Pen. Knowledge of nutritional status, responded 63% of mothers; definition of weight 39% mentions that it is a varied measure of weight; how much you know about definition of the size 52% responded is body measurement; Why do you think your child does not grow taller? Answered 50% for not feeding properly; on food regulators responded 52%; was informed about the importance of multimicronutrients responded 52% responded if it matters and contributes to development; you know how many main foodstuffs you should ingest responded 48% which should be three main foodstuffs; how often you should go to the EES.S. They answered 44% depending on the age and indication of the staff; what are the effects of an inadequate health status of the pre-school child answered 59% indicating that care will be taken in weight and height and 5%; importance of your child's appropriate nutritional status accounted for 87% responded that it is important for growth and 2% responded that their feeding is not important.
