The research “Family Factors Associated with Risky Sexual Behaviors in Adolescents of the Secondary Level of the Liceo Italiano Educational Institution, Santiago - Cusco, 2019“. The objective determined the family factors associated with risky sexual behaviors in adolescents at the secondary level of the Liceo Italiano Educational Institution, with a quantitative, correlational, prospective and cross-sectional design, with a population of 93 adolescents. Results: The general characteristics of adolescents was: 62.5% are male, 51.2% are between 12 and 13 years old, 30.7% are in the 2nd of secondary school, and 90.9% are from urban areas. Regarding family factors, 62.5% come from dysfunctional family, 29.5% belong to nuclear family, 51.1% consider a regular family relationship and 50% a regular family communication. Among risky sexual behaviors: 76.1% have initiated sexual intercourse, 46.3% initiated sexual intercourse between 12 and 13 years of age, 59.7% had 2 to 3 partners, 59.7% had sexual intercourse 1 to 2 times a month, 44.8% had their last sexual intercourse a month ago, 50.7% never protect themselves when having intercourse; 44.8% sometimes have sex with strangers, 34.3% feel influenced by their friends to have sex, 40.4% feel influenced by the media, 40.3% always have sex under the influence of alcohol, 50.8% sometimes use psychoactive substances for their sexual encounters. The level of sexual risk was:15.1% high risk, 74.6% medium risk and 10.3% low risk. Concluding in this way that family factors are associated with adolescent sexual behaviors.
