The disinfection of the root canal system is fundamental to the success of endodontic treatment, the instrumentation alone does not completely eliminate the possibly infected organic and inorganic tissue, since 40% of the walls are not even touched by rotating systems. 75% of accessory and foraminous ducts are found in the apical third, therefore, it is important to know a viable irrigation technique that eliminates dentin barrel at this level. Objective: To determine and to compare the greater level of reach of the irrigator solution, in lateral conduits designed in the apical third, using the techniques of Passive Conventional Irrigation, Passive Ultrasonic Irrigation (PUI), and Manual Gutapercha Irrigation using In the experimental study, 60 unirradicular teeth were selected, divided into two groups of 30 pieces, one group was instrumented with the Wizar Navigator system until the file Nº 40 Conicidad 0.06, and The other with Manual System up to file No. 40 Conicity 0.02 being irrigated permanently and abundantly with Sodium Hypochlorite at 5.25%. The teeth were subjected to a diaphanization process during which the lateral ducts were designed 1mm, 2mm and 3mm from the apex. After this process, the sample was divided into three groups that were irrigated with Methylene Blue mixed with Distilled Water ( (N = 20), with Manual Activation of Gutapercha (n = 20) and PUI (n = 20). After irrigation, the samples were placed in a steromicroscope to be observed. Results: The Tukey test showed a significant difference between the PUI technique, which obtained a percentage of reach of the irrigation solution of 95% compared to the Conventional Passive with 30% of range and the Manual Activation of Gutapercha with 41.67% (P <0.05). Regarding the biomechanical preparation systems, there was no significant difference being 60 the percentage of reach of the irrigator solution in the teeth prepared with Rotatory System versus 51.11% of the manual system (p> 0.05) and between the systems of rotational biomechanical preparation And manual. Conclusions: The PUI along with the System of rotational biomechanical preparation presents a greater percentage of reach of the irrigating solution at the level of the apical third. Activation of the irrigator is necessary to achieve cleaner ducts.
