El turismo rural y su relación con el desarrollo económico de la comunidad de Huilloc del distrito de Ollantaytambo, 2012-2018

Abstract

La presente investigación estudia la relación existente entre las actividades económicas generadas por la presencia del turismo rural en la Comunidad Campesina de Huilloc del distrito de Ollantaytambo y el desarrollo económico que dichas actividades generan y que a su vez modifican la estructura de los ingresos familiares, la distribución de los empleos de la población de la comunidad que se generan a partir del turismo rural en la comunidad y el acceso a servicios básicos que repercuten en la mejora de las condiciones de las viviendas y en la calidad de vida de las familias de la comunidad. Para dicho propósito se recolectó la información mediante la aplicación de una encuesta realizada en noviembre del 2018 a la población de la comunidad en general, además del uso de información secundaria obtenida de la Municipalidad Distrital de Ollantaytambo. La investigación inicia con una descripción de las características de la situación actual de la comunidad de Huilloc seguido de un análisis comparativo con el informe final de Línea de Base del año 2012 que permiten evidenciar la diferencia de la información en ambos periodos, posteriormente los resultados obtenidos en la investigación se obtuvieron mediante el modelo Probit que permitieron determinar las probabilidades en torno a los ingresos, el empleo y el acceso a servicios básicos que son las actividades económicas derivadas del turismo rural. Al término de la investigación se concluyó que existe una relación directa entre el turismo rural y el desarrollo económico de la Comunidad de Huilloc, esto se ve reflejado en el incremento de los ingresos de las familias que se dedican al turismo rural, la existencia de mayores oportunidades laborales dentro la actividad turística y el mejoramiento de las condiciones físicas de las viviendas de las familias de la comunidad.

This research studies the relationship between the economic activities generated by the presence of rural tourism in the Peasant Community of Huilloc in the district of Ollantaytambo and the economic development that these activities generate and that in turn modify the structure of family income, distribution of the jobs of the population of the community that are generated from rural tourism in the community and access to basic services that have an impact on the improvement of housing conditions and in the quality of life of the families of the community. For this purpose, the information was collected through the application of a survey conducted in November 2018 to the population of the community and also the use of secondary information obtained from the district municipality of Ollantaytambo. The research begins with a description of the characteristics of the current situation of the community of Huilloc followed by a comparative analysis with the final report of Baseline of the year 2012 that allow to show the difference of the information in both periods, afterwards, the obtained results of the research were obtained through the Probit model that allowed to determine the probabilities that occurred in family income, employment and access to basic services as a result of the economic activities derived from rural tourism. At the end of the investigation it was concluded that there is a direct relationship between rural tourism and the economic development of the Community of Huilloc, this is reflected in the increase of families’ income that work in rural tourism, the existence of more job opportunities within the tourist activity and the improvement of the physical conditions of the homes of the families of the community
