Abstract: El presente trabajo de investigación se desarrolló en la Municipalidad Distrital de San
Jerónimo y tiene como objetivo describir las habilidades directivas de los funcionarios de dicha
institución con una población de 350 servidores públicos y una de 184 personas encuestadas donde
solo se incluyeron a niveles de profesionales, técnicos y auxiliares, el tipo de investigación es
básico, el nivel de estudio es descriptivo con un diseño no experimental, se utilizó un enfoque
cuantitativo, de esta manera se recopilo información a través de la técnica denominada encuesta
con su instrumento el cuestionario, que fue aplicado a los servidores públicos municipales los
resultados fueron procesados por sistema estadístico SPSS. La encuesta aplicada a los servidores
públicos de la Municipalidad distrital de San Jerónimo demuestra que las habilidades directivas
con desarrolladas de forma regular con un 22.8% y con un promedio de 3.48 según la escala
propuesta. En cuanto a las dimensiones el 29.3% manifestó que las habilidades directivas
personales se desarrollan de forma regular y obtuvo el promedio de 3.35, el 21.2% manifestó que
las habilidades directivas interpersonales personales se desarrollan de forma regular y obtuvo el
promedio 3.76, finalmente un 24.5% manifestó que las habilidades directivas personales se
desarrollan de forma regular y obtuvo el promedio más bajo de 3.34 dentro de la institución.
