The thesis entitled "ANALYSIS OF SETTING TIME AND RESISTANCE TO COMPRESSION OF A CONCRETE WITH ACCELERATOR ADMIXTURE ELABORATE AT DIFFERENT TEMPERATURES, CUSCO - 2022.", aims to analyze the behavior of designed concrete, evaluating the setting time and resistance to the resulting compression when added with a recommended proportion from the manufacturer of the admixture for Sika accelerator and when exposed to different temperatures during its preparation in the dry season in the city of Cusco. For the correct elaboration of the concrete, the general conditions of said process were considered, where the focus was on the response of the additive when it was implemented to the concrete in its manufacture at different temperatures, both for setting and compression strength. The present investigation was carried out between the months of July and August 2022, in order to have the most variable ambient temperature in the dry season in the city of Cusco, and in this way witness the different temperatures in the production of concrete ranging from less than 0°C to more than 20°C. The aggregates used in this thesis, which belong to the Vicho and Cunyac quarries, comply with the properties according to the ASTM and NTP standards, for the Mix Design according to the ACI method, the proportions used for the concrete mixture were constant in order to evaluate the influence of temperature on the indicated behavior. The paste added with accelerating additive, in the initial setting time test, is taken in different periods of hours, the compression test of the Pattern Concrete and the Concrete added with accelerating admixture were given at 3, 7 and 28 days of its production. Is presented the analysis of the specimens produced in various periods of the dry season of the results obtained. The experimental results show that the elaboration of a concrete with an accelerating setting admixture achieves a shorter setting time at high temperatures of the day and at low temperatures higher resistances are obtained at early ages with respect to the other samples elaborated at other temperatures.
