®
expuesta a Pilsen Callao ΔE*=1,77 y
ΔE*=1,32.
To evaluate the color stability of two composite resins immersed in two industrial beers. This study was experimental, comparative and in vitro, where 90 discs of Filtek™ Z350 XT® and Palfique LX5® composite resin were used with 8mm in diameter and 2mm thick in shade A2 enamel The discs were subdivided into six subgroups (n=15) and immersed in 10 ml of Cusqueña Dorada beer, Pilsen Callao and distilled water (control group) for 30 days, being changed daily at room temperature, 3 shots of color before immersion in beer, at 14 and 30 days using the Vita Easyshade® Advance 4.0 spectrophotometer, in the CIELab coordinate system to determine the color variation (ΔE*). The data presented a normal distribution, so the ANOVA test and Tukey's post test were used to compare the groups, demonstrating that at 14 and 30 days both composite resins showed variation in their color stability when submerged in the two beers. At 14 days, differences were found in color stability between the two resins immersed in the two beers and at 30 days of immersion, there is a difference between Filtek™Z350 XT and Palfique LX5 exposed to Pilsen Callao ΔE*=1.77 and ΔE*=1.32. Consequently there is variation in color stability in both resins when exposed to the pigmenting substances studied. Being the Filtek™Z350 XT composite resin the one that presented less color stability exposed to Pilsen Callao beer.
