The present investigation denominated “Process of Ordinary Collection of the Municipal Taxes of the Provincial Municipality of Quispicanchi - 2017“, has as main objective to determine how is the process of ordinary collection of the municipal taxes in the Provincial Municipality of Quispicanchi. To achieve this objective, a basic, descriptive, transverse and non-experimental research was proposed, whose population of study is the workers of the Department of Revenue and Taxation of said Municipality. The application of the survey to the workers indicates that the process of ordinary collection of municipal taxes is totally adequate (9.5%) adequate (42.9%) and inadequate (42.9%) and inadequate (4.8%), indicating that there is a A significant percentage of workers who value positively the ordinary collection process and, on the other hand, with a minimum variation that negatively. Also, the application of the documentary observation and review guide indicates that the process of ordinary collection of municipal taxes presents deficiencies in all its stages, which are expressed in: an inadequate application of the Manuals of the Ordinary Collection Process established by The Ministry of Economy and Finance; Use of an inefficient outdated computer system and deficiencies in the application of procedures in all phases of the ordinary collection process, which implies the need to apply improvements throughout the process.
