Introduction: Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) is defined as the meticulous, analytical, and clear application and use of recent scientific evidence that is implemented in decision- making for the clinical management of the patient (1). It involves a process that allows you to systematically find, evaluate and use research results as a basis for decision- making in the clinical setting. Within the evaluation of EBM, knowledge, attitudes, and practice are considered as pillars that govern its development and application. Objective: Determine the statistical relationship between knowledge and attitudes of Evidence-Based Medicine in Human Medicine interns in Cusco, 2023. Methods: The study is observational, cross-sectional, prospective, and analytical. The instrument will consist of 3 parts. The first collects sociodemographic information regarding age, sex, university of origin and length of undergraduate study. The second part evaluates knowledge, and the third part evaluates attitudes towards EBM. The questionnaire was applied to a total of 118 Human Medicine interns. Results: There is a direct moderate relationship between attitude and knowledge of Evidence-Based Medicine with a coefficient of 0.363. Conclusions: There is a significant, moderate, and direct relationship between the attitude and knowledge of Evidence-Based Medicine in Human Medicine Interns. Where the greater the attitude, the better the level of knowledge with a Spearman correlation coefficient of 0.363.
