The research "Analysis of Solid Waste Management in the District of San Sebastián, from the Circular Economy Model, 2022" analyzes the level of efficiency of the current solid waste management system in the district of San Sebastián; for which it is proposed to know the current state of solid waste management in the district, then surveys are applied to district households who are beneficiaries of services, at the same time this is reinforced by an interview which is applied to the administrative and technical who are in charge of solid waste management. The results allow us to identify the relationship between efficiency and the principles of the Circular Economy (EC). All this is carried out with the aim of analyzing the management of solid waste in the district of San Sebastián and estimating the level of efficiency achieved from the perspective of the EC model. The type of research is descriptive, correlative and explanatory, with a mixed approach with qualitative emphasis, of non-experimental design; taking the district of San Sebastián and its actors as a unit of analysis; which includes the South Solid Waste Management and the general population, which understands families, businesses and the environment in which they operate. The results show us that solid waste management in the district of San Sebastián analyzed from the EC model is not efficient, to the extent that solid waste is conceived as undesirable objects by the solid waste manager and service users; and on the business side is only produced for consumerism leading to the generation of more solid waste where they do not take care of them
