The investigation was carried out on workers hired under the D.L. 1057 Administrative Service Contract and D.L. 276 Administrative Careers and had to determine how recruitment influences the quality of the selection of personnel of the District Municipality of Cachimayo - Cusco, Period 2022; The research was of a basic type and belongs to the quantitative approach, whose scope is descriptive, with a non-experimental design of a transectional cut, the study population was made up of 45 workers, the sample used was non-probabilistic of the census type, therefore we worked with the entire population the technique used for data collection was the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire. The results of the investigation show that the recruitment variable 57.8% affirmed that recruitment is almost always adequately developed and for the personnel selection variable, 56.3% responded that they almost always have an adequate selection of personnel, in Conclusion Recruitment significantly influences the quality of the selection of the personnel of the District Municipality of Cachimayo - Cusco, Period 2022, where when using Spearman's Rho the bilateral significance of p-value=0.000 < 0.05 and Rho=0.589 , indicating the relationship between recruitment with the quality of personnel selection is positively high.
