Alterations refers to any deviation from normal, so we have the whole bad dental positions; dental skeletal dysplasia; dental alveolar dysplasia, bone dysplasias and you can not play the tooth disorder as a pathological state but as a variation in the human morphology This study sought to determine the prevalence of orthodontic alterations according to the American Association of Orthodontists in children aged 06- 12 years old attended at the Health Center Santa Rosa MINSA-Cuzco, where the prevalence of genetic alterations are determined, functional , traumatic and dental order. Definitions were considered important alterations etiology, predisposing factors, local factors and the problems they cause. A study of descriptive exploratory type of quantitative and observational design in 289 patients treated at the Health Center Santa Rosa-Cusco who met the inclusion criteria was performed. The collected data were recorded in a database and processed in a computer. The actual study information, duly verified, was transported to a coding sheet spreadsheet using Microsoft Excel, the statistical processing was analyzed in SPSS version 20, I present a quantitative statistical analysis. The result being that the higher prevalence of alterations occurs with 86.5% of cases and that this occurs more frequently in women with 43.6% cases and at the age of 10 years with 22.8% cases.
