The thesis titled "LIFESTYLES OF OLDER ADULTS WITH ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION TREATED AT THE HOSPITAL OF QUILLABAMBA, LA CONVENCIÓN CUSCO 2023" aimed to determine the lifestyles of older adults with arterial hypertension who were treated at the hospital of Quillabamba, La Convención Cusco in 2023. The methodology was quantitative in approach, descriptive in scope, nonexperimental and cross-sectional in design with a sample of 90 older adults. The technique used was a survey, and the instrument was the “Fantastic” questionnaire, which measures lifestyles. The results of older adult’s sociodemographic characteristics showed that 57.8% were aged 72 years or older; 67.8% were female; 44.4% were cohabiting; 33.3% had no education, 63.3% lived with 2 people; 98.9% had Comprehensive Health Insurance (SIS) and 70.0% were proficient in Spanish. In the diet dimension, 83.3% had a healthy diet and 16.7% did not; in the physical activity dimension, 67.8% engaged in healthy physical activity and 32.2% did not; in the self-care dimension, 80.0% showed insufficient self-care and 20.0% sufficient; in the substance use dimension, 90.0% had minimal consumption and 10.0% had excessive consumption; in the leisure time dimension, 33.3% used it in a healthy way and 66.7% did not; 28.9% of the older adults had a healthy sleep pattern and 71.1% did not. Finally, 44.4% of the older adults had a generally healthy lifestyle and 55.6% had a low healthy lifestyle.
