Abstract: Introducción: La anemia en la gestación viene a ser una problemática de
importancia nacional ya que está asociado con complicaciones tanto maternas
y perinatales Comprender las causas de la anemia durante la gestación es
crucial para desarrollar métodos efectivos de detección, prevención y
tratamiento.
Objetivo: Determinar los factores de riesgo asociados a la anemia en gestantes
atendidas en el Hospital II de Abancay Essalud 2023.
Métodos: Investigación cuantitativa, observacional, retrospectivo, analítico de
caso y control. La muestra conformada por 136 gestantes que presentan anemia
(casos) y 136 gestantes que no presentan anemia (controles) que acudieron al
Hospital II de Abancay Essalud en el año 2023. La población estuvo compuesta
por todas las gestantes que presentan anemia registrada en su historia clínica.
Un formulario de recolección de datos sirvió de instrumento para el análisis.
Resultados: Los factores de riesgo tiene relación con la anemia en un 44.29%,
siendo esta en mayor porcentaje del 70.59%% tipo leve, mayor de 35 años
30.2%, multípara 42.7%, tercer trimestre de gestación 55.9%, periodo
intergenesico corto 51.5%, ama de casa 27.9%%, procedencia rural 52.2%.
Conclusiones: Los factores de riesgo se relacionan con la anemia en gestantes
predominando el tipo leve.

Understanding the causes of anemia during pregnancy is crucial to developing effective detection, prevention and treatment methods. Objective: Determine the risk factors associated with anemia in pregnant women treated at Hospital II of Abancay Essalud 2023. Methods: Quantitative, observational, retrospective, analytical case and control research. The sample was made up of 136 pregnant women who have anemia (cases) and 136 pregnant women who do not have anemia (controls) who attended Hospital II of Abancay Essalud in 2023. The population was made up of all the pregnant women who have anemia registered in their history clinic. A data collection form served as an instrument for the analysis.
