The present research work entitled: Safety based on behavior in the control of Occupational Safety and Health indices of the project “Improvement of sports and recreation areas of the Sambaray spa, Quillabamba, La Convention – Cusco 2023”, which had The objective of measuring the effect of the application of the safety methodology based on behavior in the control of safety and health indices at work of the project “Improvement of sports and recreation areas of the Sambaray spa, Quillabamba, La Convention - Cusco ”. The research is of an Applied type, with a quantitative approach, explanatory level, pre-experimental design, since data was taken before the application of the SBC and after it, the population is made up of project personnel and the sample is non-probabilistic. for convenience made up of 26 workers. The information was obtained from the application of a PSBC, where a safety culture survey was used before and after, in the first survey applied, 39.10% was obtained in the technical factors and 41.02% in the human factors, in the second survey increased to 97.60% in technical factors and 98.71% in human factors. In the safety and health indices at work, the Frequency index decreased from 31 possible cases of occurrence of work accidents per million man hours worked to 8.35, the Severity index decreased from 62.01 possible days lost due to work accidents. for every million man hours worked to 8.35 and the Accident Rate decreased from 1.92 to 0.069. Likewise, the student's T statistic was used to corroborate the hypotheses, finding for the general hypothesis a T value of 2.773 and a significance of 0.018, thus concluding that the application of the SBC methodology had a significant positive effect on the control of safety and health indices at work.
