This thesis aims to analyze and compare the cost, time, difficulty of data collection and the difficulty of data processing to obtain the International Roughness Index (IRI), measured with RPAS and Smartphone on the Enaco - Pumamarca road, Cusco The pavements, are structures exposed to daily efforts, that from time to time need specific maintenance according to the needs of this, there are two types of evaluations commonly carried out on the pavements: structural and functional evaluation, of these, the functional evaluation can be determine by several methods and one of them is the measurement of the International Regularity Index (IRI), a method that our country adopted years ago, and that is often used with equipment with high operating cost, difficult to handle and calibration, seeing this This investigation was carried out using an RPAS and a Smartphone for the determination of the IRI in a section of a road, for this the comparison of the difficulty of data collection, the difficulty of data processing, the cost generated and the time taken to measure this parameter. After performing a set of processes necessary for the collection and processing of data, it was concluded that the results obtained by the RPAS in terms of cost, time, difficulty of collection and difficulty of data processing are much greater than those obtained by the Smartphone, thus emphasizing that the use of the Smartphone as a method to determine the IRI is quite viable and economical in engineering terms.
