The present research has as a general objective to know the perception of sexuality and gender in adolescents of a Large School Unit of Women of the district of Cusco, 2016. This is a descriptive research of simple descriptive compuest, with a population of 318 fourthyear high school students and 262 fifth-year students of the Clorinda Matto de Turner Women's Unit, as an instrument, the Sexuality and Gender Perception questionnaire was validated by an expert judgment in 2015. The results they point out that the perception of sexuality and gender is predominantly conservative in the proportion of 86% in the fourth year of secondary school and 84% in the fifth year of high school and that both grades do not show statistically significant differences. Likewise, we see that 11% of students have a liberal perception, followed by students whose perception is mixed with 4%. In relation to the specific objectives, it was obtained that the perception of sexual practice, relationships and sexual orientation are predominantly conservative, while the perception of the use of contraceptive methods is predominantly liberal and finally, the perception of love and infatuation in the sexual practice is predominantly mixed.
