The research analyzes the effect of the production and commercialization of vegetables on the income of the inhabitants of the peasant communities of the district of Tinta, province of Canchis, Cusco Department, during the year 2019. A survey was carried out among vegetable producers to identify the effect of the two independent variables and one dependent variable mentioned above. The research design is non-experimental and has a descriptive scope since it seeks to specify the characteristics. Among the main results, it can be mentioned that the majority of vegetable producers are women. On the other hand, according to the income variable We can see that there are 47% of horticulturists who have a monthly income of between 400 to 500 soles and only 7% have a monthly income greater than 900 soles due to difficulties in the production and marketing of its products. According to the production variable, we obtain that of the total hectares owned by the producers, a part is destined to crops where agriculture is developed with the production of vegetables, potatoes, corn among others. In the commercialization variable, it was obtained that 53% of the producers affirm that they allocate between 91-95% of this product to commercialization and the rest they use for your consumption, 68 producers representing 40% indicated that they market their products through intermediaries, thus ensuring the total sale of their products despite the fact that the intermediary takes a certain profit margin, 53% indicate that they make direct sales to the final consumer trying to obtain greater income from the sale of their products. Finally, in the dimensioning of the variables: In the dimension of the income variable: 72 producers representing 43% qualify that their monthly family income is "Bad", which is not enough to cover their basic needs, 39% of the vegetable producers who consider their income “Regular” are those who, in addition to agriculture, have income from other activities, and the leftover 18% indicate that their income is "good". These producers are those who, in addition to having a second economic activity, have improved the production of vegetables with the training and technical assistance received. Dimension of the production variable: 40% of the producers consider that the productive activity of vegetables is "bad", 35% indicate that it is "regular", while 25% affirm that it is "good". In relation to the training and technical assistance received by horticulturists, these have been given to a small part of the population. Dimension of the marketing variable: 53% consider that the commercialization process is "bad", 29% consider it "regular" and 18% consider it good, the majority qualify that it is "bad" due to the difficulties they have when accessing the market.
