The present investigation whose problem is What is the situation of loans with weekly payment modality and its delinquency in the Caja Municipal de Ahorro y Crédito de Piura agency Wanchaq, Cusco - 2020?, aims to describe the situation of loans with modality of weekly payment and its delinquency in the Caja Municipal de Ahorro y Crédito de Piura Wanchaq agency, Cusco - 2020. Research with a quantitative approach, descriptive scope, non-experimental design, its population and study sample is constituted by the documentation of the loans with weekly payment modality and the loan portfolio, the technique being data collection and the data collection sheet the instrument. The results obtained have found that the current capital balance is S/ 439,536.71, made up of credits with a normal rating of S/ 437, 624.84 and credits with a CPP rating of S/ 1,911.87, corresponding provision for collection of 1% for the credits with a normal rating for S/ 4,076.25 and 5% for credits with a CPP rating for S/ 95.59, however, the constitution of provisions for doubtful collections is S/ 2,139.12, being 0.49% of the capital balance, that is, it does not comply with constituting the provisions according to current regulations. Likewise, with the objective of describing delinquency, according to table 3 as of 12/31/2020, the delinquency rates for loans with arrears greater than 08 days is 9.45% and for loans with arrears greater than 30 days, it is 9.05%, both indicators are well above the average index of the microfinance sector, which is on average 5%, these indicators show a deterioration of the portfolio that affects the results of the financial institution.
