To achieve a pleasant smile, we need that its constituent parts are within a balance and harmony, which will not only be achieved by aligning the teeth but also by the neurological, muscular and skeletal balance. The objective of this thesis was to determine the relationship between facial pattern and smile in students of the Professional School of Stomatology of the Universidad Andina del Cusco, 2017 - II. The present research work is quantitative, because statistics were applied. It is a relational work because the agreement between the two variables facial and smile pattern was evaluated in Students of the Professional School of Stomatology 2017-II. The present research work is non-experimental, because the study variables are not manipulated. Cross section The relationship between the facial pattern and the smile showed as a result that students with a europrosopo facial pattern and with an acceptable smile are represented by 53.4% and with an unacceptable smile by 63.8%. The students with a mesoprosopo facial pattern and acceptable smile are represented by 37.9% and with an unacceptable smile 28.2%. Students with a leptoprosopo facial pattern and with an acceptable smile are represented by 8.6% and with a non acceptable smile by 7.9%. The relationship between the facial pattern variables and the smile are totally independent variables, that is, there is no relationship. (p> 0.05)
