Nivel de conocimiento sobre prevención de infecciones respiratorias agudas en madres con niños menores de 5 años que acuden al Centro de Salud Techo Obrero, Canchis, Cusco - 2018

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación intitulada “ NIVEL DE CONOCIMIENTO SOBRE PREVENCIÓN DE INFECCIONES RESPIRATORIAS AGUDAS EN MADRES CON NIÑOS MENORES DE 5 AÑOS QUE ACUDEN AL CENTRO DE SALUD TECHO OBRERO, CANCHIS, cusca - 2018“ Objetivo: determinar el nivel de conocimientos sobre prevención de Infecciones Respiratorias Agudas de madres con niños menores de 5 años que acuden al Centro de Salud de Techo Obrero, Canchis Cusco. El diseño metodológico que . ' se utilizó fue de tipo descriptivo transversal, la población en estudio estuvo constituida por 150 madres atendidas en el Centro de Salud Techo Obrero. La técnica utilizada fue la entrevista y el instrumento la encuesta. Dentro de las características generales se llegó a los siguientes resultados: El 31,4% tienen las edades de 26 a 35 años, 44,3% tienen secundaria completa, 37,1% son ama de casa, 45,7% son convivientes, el 62,9% hablan el castellano y el quechua, el 45, 7% tienen de 3 a 4 hijos y el 42,9% perciben de 100 a 300 soles. Nivel de conocimiento de madres con niños menores de 5 años. El 48,60% de las madres, conocen la definición de IRAS, 58,6% de las madres desconocen la la transmisión, 57,1% conocen los factores predisponentes, 45,7% desconocen las complicaciones, 48,6% desconocen los signos y síntomas, 48,6% desconocen los signos de peligro, 57, 1 % conocen sobre las medidas de prevención, 75,7% conocen las ventajas que tiene la Lactancia Materna para el niño, 67, 1 % conocen sobre los problemas de salud que previene la lactancia materna, el 84,3% conocen las acciones cuando hay cambios bruscos de temperatura, 48,6% conocen sobre medidas de nutrición para prevenir las IRAS, 50,0% conocen las Vitaminas, como elementos que ayudan a prevenir las IRAS, 71,4% lo lleva al Centro de Salud más cercano, 52,9% si saben que la exposición del humo empeora la evolución de las IRAS. El 47, 1 % de madres con niños menores de 5 años que acuden al Centro de Salud Techo Obrero, tienen un nivel de conocimiento regular sobre Prevención de Infecciones Respiratorias Agudas, el 34,2% nivel de conocimiento Malo y el 18,5% nivel de conocimientos Bueno.

The methodological design that was used was cross-sectional descriptive type, the population under study was constituted by 150 mothers attended in the Techo Obrero Health Center. The technique used was the interview and the survey instrument. Within the general characteristics, the following results were achieved: 31.4% are between the ages of 26 and 35, 44.3% have complete secondary education, 37.1 % are housewives, 45. 7% live together, 62.9% speak Spanish and Quechua, 45.7% have 3 to 4 children and 42.9% receive between 100 and 300 soles. Level of knowledge of mothers with children under 5 years of age. 48.60% of mothers know the definition of HAI, 58.6% of mothers are unaware of the transmission, 57.1 % know the predisposing factors, 45.7% are unaware of the complications, 48.6% are unaware of the signs and symptoms, 48.6% are unaware of the danger signs, 57.1% know about prevention measures, 75.7% know the advantages of breastfeeding far the child, 67.1 % know about the problems of health that prevents breastfeeding, 84.3% know the actions when there are sudden changes in temperature, 48.6% know about nutrition measures to prevent HAls, 50.0% know about Vitamins, as elements that help prevent the IRAS, 71.4% take it to the nearest Health Center, 52.9% if they know that smoke exposure worsens the evolution of the IRAS. 47.1 % of mothers with children under 5 years of age who attend the Techo Obrero Health Center have a regular level of knowledge about Acute Respiratory lnfection Prevention, 34.2% level of bad knowledge and 18.5% % is in the range of knowledge level Good.
