The Nolla method has highlight for its ability to estimate age in children and adolescents, using certain dental characteristics and evaluation criteria. Therefore, a complete analysis of all the teeth is required, and there is no information on dental age by means of the study of a single tooth. The objective was to determine the relationship between dental age and chronological age in canines according to the Nolla stages in children from 6 to 13 years of age at the Luis Vallejos Santoni University Stematological Center Cusco 2021 - 2023. Methodologically, the study was basic, correlational, non-experimental and cross- sectional design. The sample consisted of 132 panoramic radiographs, and the observation technique and the data collection form instrument were used. The results were that most of the children were in a dental age belonging to stage 8 (25.8%), and Spearman's Rho was used, which indicated that the stages of the canines are related in a very significant way with the chronological age p <0.05, regarding the dental age and chronological age according to sex there was no significant relationship. In conclusion the variable of chronological age and dental age in canines according to the Nolla statistic are significantly related, and it was also proven that it is possible to estimate the dental age with a single tooth such as the canine.
