The objective of this study is to help us evaluate the possibility of producing and commercializing biodegradable containers based on the pseudostem of the banana plant, in order to reduce environmental pollution from plastic packaging and other products. The biodegradable containers are aimed at the various restaurants in our region that seek to contribute to the reduction of environmental pollution. The research is related to the care of the environment and the consumption of biodegradable packaging. Therefore, consumers of packaging can acquire biodegradable containers in the city of Cusco, for their different social activities, in such a way that they contribute in a sustainable way with the environment. The Peruvian economy can be noted that, according to the International Monetary Fund, emphasizes the Peruvian economic decline, as well as the decline of other nearby regions, noting that the economic data were weak by the events that brought the COVID 19. As a result, many companies had to reinvent themselves in such a way that companies producing different biodegradable products emerged, most of which, if not all, are located in the north and center of Peru, which is why the biodegradable products in Cusco are exported and there is no production plant as such. Now with the law that prohibits the use of technopor for the sale of food, so the demand for biodegradable containers for the year 2021 is 35771 units per day and for the year 2025 would be 45047 units per day. Determined our market the location of the plant was determined by the average cost of the land and this will be located in the province of the convention-echarati, the size of the land was determined by the distribution of all the corresponding areas and is 999m2 as a minimum. Consequently, in order to carry out the project, an initial investment of s/219278.7 is needed, 80% of which is financed.
