Research Title: "NUTRITIONAL STATUS AND FEEDING PATTERNS IN CHILDREN AGED 6-24 MONTHS ATTENDING BELENPAMPA HEALTH CENTER, CUSCO - 2020." OBJECTIVE: To determine the nutritional status and feeding patterns in children aged 6-24 months attending Belenpampa Health Center, CUSCO - 2020. METHODOLOGY: This was a quantitative study with a descriptive scope, nonexperimental, cross-sectional design; the sample consisted of 132 children aged 624 months and the instrument used was a questionnaire applied at Belenpampa Health Center. RESULTS: 62% of mothers are aged between 19-25 years, 62% have secondary education, 83% have an economic income of 850 soles, 78% are housewives, 56% of children aged 6 to 24 months are male, and 60% of children were born with a weight of 2500 to 3500 grams. Regarding nutritional status, 80% of children have normal nutritional status, 9% have acute malnutrition, and 3% have severe malnutrition, while 1% are overweight and 7% are obese. Among feeding patterns, it was found that 69% of children aged 6-8 months had adequate feeding patterns, while 63% of children aged 9-11 months had adequate feeding patterns, and 60% of children aged 1 year or older presented adequate feeding patterns.
