Methodology: presents a descriptive, retrospective, transseversal and nonexperimental type of research, a documentary review of all the Clinical Histories of 2017 and the data to be collected from those Clinical Histories of the patients attended at Luis Vallejos Clinic. Santoni during the year 2017, for which a total of 1777 clinical histories of partial edentular patients were found in the aforementioned institution, 316 clinical records of patients attended were collected, respecting that they met the selection criteria, for which 473 partial edentulous jaws were analyzed. 222 patients from higher arches and 251 patients from lower arches. Therefore, the following conclusions were obtained, in relation to the affected maxilla. Finding in the upper jaw as the most prevalent class III, and in the lower jaw class II is the most prevalent. In relation to sex and maxilla affected. Finding in the upper jaw 157 cases of female sex as the most prevalent and the class that predominates is class III, and in the lower jaw the most prevalent is female with 183 cases and the class that dominates is Class I. In relation to age and maxilla affected. Finding in the upper jaw the most prevalent age group in the range of 51 to 60 years with 71 cases and the class that predominates is class II and in the lower jaw the most prevalent age group in the range 51 to 60 years and the class that predominates is class I. And in relation to the type of tooth lost, with greater frequency the piece was found in the upper jaw, first premolar with 17%, while in the lower jaw the second molar tooth with 21.5%.
