By partial existence of stormwater collection networks in the Avenida del Ejército and surrounding streets of the district of Santiago province and department of Cusco, rainwater run along the surfaces of the streets and enter the sewer system wastewater, making these collapse when transporting these waters, because transport networks sewage are not designed to fulfill a dual function, that of conveying storm water and sewage. Rainfall generated in Cusco cause problems in collecting rainwater networks because its uptake and transport of rainwater is not designed properly, the product of accelerated demographic growth. And knowing the problems that gave rise to our thesis had to do studies of hydrology, hydraulics and others to solve the problem, so they had to do the physical examination of the entire basin under study, for it was had to determine the slopes of the main avenues as also had to do a site survey to determine the tax areas. Having full knowledge of the amount of stormwater each tax area shall place the collector point and size of channels to transport surface water.
