The following research analyzes the factors that are associated to the violence in the families of the students’ of the Institución Uriel García a coeducated elementary school in Cusco. This research will also allow us to know the levels of violence and those related according to: origin, sex of the offender, type of family, educational level, occupation, socioeconomic status, levels of alcohol consumption and the violent family history of the aggressor. At 95 % of reliability and using the statistical test (chi square) to establish the factors related to violence in families, it is found that the average monthly income (30.5 %), the violence frequency in the father (36.1 %), the violence frequency in the mother (39.6 %), the violence frequency in any other family member (63.4 %), the violence history of the father (22.2 %), the violence history of the mother (23.3 %) and the violence history of any other family member (36.2 %) are factors related to violence in families, p < 0.05. In general, it is emphasized that the violence in the families of the elementary school female students is closely related to the frequency of violence in any other family member with a 63.4 %.
