This research work was to determine the prevalence of Orthodontic changes according to the index of the Association Ibero-American Orthodontists in children 06 to 12 years in Educational Center No. 51021 CHACHACOMAYOC district WanchaqCusco, 2015 With the use of quantitative index malocclusion American Association of Orthodontists. 262 schools were evaluated in order to determine changes Orthodontic, which took into account the prevalence of alterations genetic, functional, traumatic and dental anomalies order. a study of type exploratory-descriptive design was conducted quantitative and observational in patients attended Center Educational CHACHACOMAYOC No. 51021 that met the criteria inclusion. The collected data were recorded in a database and processed on a computer. The actual study information duly verified, it was transported to a coding sheet and using the sheet Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, analysis of the data was processed in the SPSS version 20, which presented an analysis quantitative statistical, resulting in the increased prevalence alterations compared to those not present. Resulting in the increased prevalence of alterations is given with 85.5% of cases and that this occurs more often in males with 43.5% cases and at the age of 10 years with 22.5% cases.
