Secondary prevention in cervical cancer in users of the Hospital Antonio Lorena Cusco, 2017. This study aims to clarify secondary prevention in cervical cancer, whose methodology is non-experimental, quantitative, prospective, horizontal-cut design. Results: 38.4% (66) received personalized counseling on maternity and gynecology services, 24.4% (42) for referral from other health centers, 19.8% (34) were for personalized counseling in other services Of the hospital, 7.0% (12) for material of diffusion and group talks in the hospital and finally the 3.5% (6) through means of communication as the radio. The procedures are pap smears in 67.4% (116), visual inspection with acetic acid (VIA) and 17.4% (30) and colposcopy in 15.2% (26). In the pap smear test, 38% (44) are women under 20 years of age, in VIA 53% (16) are in women between the ages of 40 and 49 years, in colposcopy 50% (13) were women between 40 To 49 years. On the other hand, pap smears were performed in 64.7% (96) by obstetricians and 2.7% (20) by physicians, in colposcopies the total was by physicians and visual inspections with acetic acid VIA by obstetricians. The results were 46% (53) as inflammation, 28% (33) with negative cytology, followed by 14% (16) as atypical squamous cells of uncertain significance ASCUS, 6% (7) low LIE Grade, 4% (5) as atypical cells likely high-grade lesion (ASC-H) and 2% (2) high-grade LES; In VIA 73% (22) negative to the test, 20% (6) positive to the test and 7% (2) suspected of cancer; In colposcopy were 85% (22) satisfactory and 15% (4) unsatisfactory. The treatment of papanicolaou 55% with pharmacological treatment, 28% control in 12 months, with VIA results are 60% who were suggested a control in 6 months, 20% was performed cryotherapy, the treatment of colposcopy was with 46% They were given a 6-month follow-up, 31% underwent pharmacological treatment, 19% underwent cryotherapy, and 4% under LEEP. Regarding the follow-up, it is carried out through the delivery of cards with scheduled appointments, recording personal data in the follow-up notebook, coordinating with family members and coordinating with obstetrician staff from the home establishments.
