Abstract: El intrusismo es el ejercicio de actividades profesionales por personas no autorizadas legalmente para ello, problema que se suscita actualmente en el campo de la obstetricia
y la ginecología. El objetivo de estudio fue identificar las manifestaciones del intrusismo profesional de las y los obstetras en la práctica privada. Es un estudio de tipo
cuantitativa, diseño descriptivo transversal; cuya unidad de análisis estuvo conformada
por obstetras que ejercen en la práctica privada de Cusco, considerando 56 obstetras (16 en clínica, 39 en consultorio privado, 1- otros). El instrumento aplicado fue una encuesta validada por 7 jueces expertos, con 66 preguntas que recogen las funciones del o la obstetra. En el análisis de datos se utilizó la estadística descriptiva. Los resultados hallados fueron lo siguiente: utiliza la tecnología y los avances de la ciencia
(colposcopio) para mejorar los diagnósticos de prevención de cáncer de cuello uterino,
7% cumple y 86% a veces cumple; realiza ecografías de otro nivel como complemento
de su diagnóstico general, 4% cumple y 25% a veces cumple; realiza procedimientos para ayuda de diagnóstico como AMEU (Aspiración manual endouterina) y/o LU (Legrado uterino) 30% a veces cumple; el 87.05% del total de obstetras cumple satisfactoriamente las competencias asignadas, mientras que el 8,41% no cumple, y el
2.07% del total de obstetras comete intrusismo profesional. Por lo que se concluye que
las manifestaciones de intrusismo profesional de las y los obstetras en la práctica privada son en un mínimo porcentaje.

The objective of the study was to identify the manifestations of the professional intrusion of obstetricians in private practice. It is a quantitative study, cross-sectional descriptive design; whose unit of analysis was made up of obstetricians who practice in the private practice of Cusco, considering 56 obstetricians (16 in the clinic, 39 in the private practice, 1- others). The applied instrument was a survey validated by 7 expert judges, with 66 questions that include the functions of the obstetrician. In the data analysis, descriptive statistics were used. The results found were as follows: it uses technology and advances in science (colposcopy) to improve the diagnosis of cervical cancer prevent ion, 7% meets and 86% meets sometimes; performs ultrasound of another level as a complement to his general diagnosis, 4% meets and 25% sometimes complies; performs procedures for diagnostic help such as MVA (manual vacuum aspiration) and / or LU (uterine curettage) 30% sometimes meets; 87.05% of the total of obstetricians satisfactorily fulfills the assigned competences, while 8.41% does not comply, and 3.70% of the total of obstetricians commit professional intrusion. So it is concluded that the manifestations of professional intrusiveness of obstetricians in private practice are in a minimum percentage.
