The main objective of this research work is to determine the impact of the PROCOMPITE program on the income of cocoa producers in the area of Echarati and Palma Real, District of Echarati, Province La Convención, Department Cusco in the period 2016-2020, the research applies the quantitative approach, considering as independent variable the productivity of the PROCOMPITE program and dependent variable income; with correlational scope, primary information collected in the application of surveys to cocoa producers of the AEOs and secondary information from formal entities was used. The main problem identified is the inadequate management of production factors, technology and investment. In terms of production, there is a lack of technical management of the crop, high maintenance costs, pests and diseases, which affect production volumes and productivity. In terms of technology, there is deficient equipment and machinery for cocoa bean production and processing. Investment in the AEOs is limited and difficult to access due to the scarce financing from public and private institutions for producers, who face limitations to compete and enter the national and international market, which has repercussions in achieving better income from their production. As a result, PROCOMPITE intervenes with competitive funds to co-finance productive proposals. The results show that the productivity of the PROCOMPITE program has a significant impact on the income of cocoa producers. Investment and technology are the most significant factors in the increase in income, reaching 58% and 52.8% respectively, while production only reaches 36%.
