It is essential to recognize the importance of irrigation system projects, since water resources are important in the productive and economic development of the country. Therefore, the Water User Boards, whose responsibilities are defined in the Water Resources Law (Law No. 29338), must evaluate the quality of the services they provide and the state of their hydraulic infrastructure to develop, promote or manage solutions. alternatives in case of damages in a specific hydraulic sector. Therefore, this monographic work focused on the evaluation of the current state of the hydraulic infrastructure with the purpose of its relocation, as well as the preparation of a hydraulic design study, which was carried out by the undersigned in 2022. Which was carried out within the framework of the project "Construction of a piped canal in the Villa Vitarte Homeowners Association for the diversion of an existing canal" in the section between Carretera Central Km. 7.5 and Av. Marco Puente Llanos in the district of Ate, province and department of Lima, belonging to the Board of Users of the Rímac Hydraulic Sector and aimed to restore operation, the distribution of water for the irrigation of green areas and the prevention of risks associated with overflows that could affect the structures of the PV-26 ventilation shaft of the Lima Metro Line 2 project.
