An incipient tax education generates a low tax culture among students, contributing in the future to tax fraud. It is essential to promote tax values in educational institutions to encourage good tax behavior. Without adequate education, informality and tax evasion are perpetuated, affecting the country's progress. This research seeks to evaluate this situation and propose educational strategies to promote a solid and responsible tax culture. The general objective was “To analyze how tax education is related to tax culture in students of the VII Cycle of the Nuestra Señora del Carmen School, Imperial, Cañete - 2023”, based on the hypothesis that there is a significant positive relationship between the study variables. The research was of basic type, with quantitative approach, non-experimental cross-sectional design and descriptive-correlational level. The population consisted of 372 students of the VII Cycle, working with a sample of 190 students. The survey was used as a technique and the questionnaire as an instrument. The data obtained were processed and contrasted with antecedents, resulting in a Spearman's Rho of 0.531, indicating a moderate positive correlation between the variables. The findings underscore the importance of tax education in the formation of a solid tax culture and are consistent with previous studies They also highlight the crucial role of institutions such as SUNAT and the Ministry of Education in promoting tax awareness from an early age. Programs such as “A Tax for my Country” have proven effective in strengthening the tax culture among students.
