The main objective of this study is to determine the relationship between perceived stress and academic self-efficacy in pre-professional practitioners from a private university in Piura. For this analysis, 113 participants were given the tests for both variables. The Perceived Stress Scale (EPGE) was used and for academic self-efficacy the Specific Perceived Self-efficacy Scale of Academic Situations (EAPESA) was applied. Spearman's rho non-parametric test was used to achieve the proposed objectives because correlation studies were developed to obtain heterogeneity scores through statistical analysis. The results found show that there is a very significant inverse correlation between perceived stress and academic self-efficacy. Likewise, it was found that there is a negative correlation between Self-efficacy and the dimensions of perceived Stress (in favor of control and loss of control). This analysis reveals that both variables predominate at the middle level respectively (52.2%) and (49.6%) in the study population.
