Objective: to determine the quality of life of the elderly with pressure injury at the PNP Luis N. Sáenz National Police Hospital – 2024. Materials and method: quantitative approach, non experimental design, descriptive type, cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 42 patients housed in the hospitalization area of the National Police Hospital PNP Luis N. Sáenz in the city of Lima and who suffer from pressure injury. “The instrument used was the WHOQOL – BREF questionnaire to measure quality of life and the Likert-type scale was used to evaluate the variable”. Results: the female sex predominated with 59.53% (25 respondents) followed by the male sex with 40.47% (17 respondents). Regarding age, the group made up of the age of 71 years or older predominates with 47.6% (20 participants, followed by the group from 51 to 60 years 28.6% (12 respondents). Regarding the general objective, it was noted that the quality of life of older adults who suffer from pressure injury and it was determined that 71.43% (30 adults) have a high quality of life, 28.57% (12 adults) have an average quality of life and 0% have a quality. Conclusions: it was possible to demonstrate that the quality of life of older adults with pressure injury hospitalized at the PNP Luis N. Sáenz National Police Hospital - 2024 is high.
