Hydrocarbon activity in Peru is extremely important due to its impact on the country's economy through the generation of foreign exchange, investment, and jobs. The present business case tries to evaluate the feasibility for the installation of ShoreTension equipment in a Liquefied Natural Gas loading dock located on the Peruvian coast whose operations are impacted during the winter season due to the presence of abnormal swells that limit the production and shipment of LNG, generating lower revenues for the company and - consequently - for the Peruvian Government, impacted by lower taxes. The study of this case is important for its participation in the national economy, for the contribution it makes through taxes, job creation, among others. To meet the objective, the research used a descriptive, non-experimental scope. In addition to a quantitative approach, used specifically in financial analysis. In the investigation, the review of the technology that was optimal to improve the conditions that comprise the loading and shipping processes was carried out, the needs for improvement were identified to propose a solution to the problem, combined with the financial analysis sought to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposal. In this sense, the viability of the project was verified by obtaining a NPV of 12,131 million USD and an IRR of 29.86%.
