The general objective of the research was to verify the influence of active strategies to improve sculptural creation in students of the Third Grade “E” of secondary education of the Public Educational Institution “Luis Carranza” of Ayacucho, 2023. Quantitative approach, application type, explanatory level and pre-experimental design, the checklist instrument was applied to the non-probabilistic sample of 29 students to measure the degree of development of sculptural creation. The descriptive statistical results were graphed in tables and summary measures and the inferential, hypothesis testing, with the non-parametric Wilcoxon Rank statistician. The derivations reveal that active strategies are efficient to direct learning in the Area of Art and Culture. In the pre-test it is observed that the sculptural creation, in the majority of modeling are at the “Bad“ level (89.7%, 26 students), after the strategic administration, the majority of the clay sculptures are located in the “Good” level (86.3%, 25 students), confirmed with the summary measures, where a 27.8-point difference was found between the pre- and post-test of the arithmetic means. In the inferential analysis, the bilateral asymptotic significance was 0.000, lower than the significance, concluding that active strategies significantly develop sculptural creation in students who are the subject of research (Z = -4.919; p < 0.05).
