The present research work had as a problem posed: To what extent is the effluent emitted by electro-oriente related to the quality of life of the inhabitants of Masusa and surrounding areas, (Iquitos - Perú), 2019 ?; The general objective was: to determine the relationship between the effluents emitted by Electro-Oriente and the quality of life of the residents of Masusa and its surroundings; The specific objectives were: to determine the relationship between the physical parameters of the effluents and the quality of life of the population of Masusa and surrounding areas, to determine the relationship between the chemical parameters of the effluents and the quality of life of the population of Masusa and surrounding areas. , to determine the environmental impact of the effluents in the population of Masusa and its surroundings. The methodology corresponds to a quantitative approach and the study design to a correlational non-experimental type of research, since it is about establishing the degree of correlation or association between a variable X, another variable Y, another variable Z. The population was determined by different human settlements, which add a total of 11, which makes a total of 10,175 inhabitants, and the sample was given by 188 inhabitants, the results show that there is an environmental impact between effluents emitted by electro-Oriente vs quality of life of the population of Masusa and surrounding areas, in the same way it is reported that the quality of life of the inhabitants of said area, reached a score of 3.06 considered as fair. Likewise, the reliability coefficient of the instrument used was 0.82.
