In the leaves of Ilex nayana (Guayusa Caspi) of the family Aquifoleaceae, collected in the Arboretum of The Faculty of Forestal Engineering, state Zungarococha-Puerto Almendras- San Juan District, Loreto Region-Perú, was isolated caffeine for the Inclusion Methods, used Magnesium Oxide (MgO), how stroma and destroyed with solution of Sulfuric Acid to 10% and and extracted with chloroform is procedure to his purification, it is obtained 0.9 porcent of yield. This plant has narrow relationship with Ilex paraguaiensis (Mate of Paraguay), that is used like substitute of the tea in countries how Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil side. The Physical-Chemistry test how: melting point is 234.8 ºC, TLC Rf x 100 is 41 and Molecular weight Determination is 193 approved that analyzed sample is caffeine. The Spectrometric Tests as UV-Visible into MeOH is λmax273 nm and Water is λmax278 nm, also Proton Nuclear Magnetic Resonance and Carbon-13 Nuclear Magnetic Resonance make it possible to confirm this discovery, in order to introduced in the Scientifics Literature, of this way Ilex nayana can be constitute a substitute a valuable of the tea (Camelia sinensis)
