The quantitative method was used in the present investigation, design non-experimental, correlational type and cross-section; in order to determine the relationship between the mode of Rural tourism: tourism and socio-economic benefits in the families of the communities of Padre Cocha, Boras of San Andrés and Manacamiri, during the period 2017. The sample was conformed by 227 familys, which met the inclusion criteria. The technique of the survey, which allowed the application of the instrument, type questionnaire, was used to collect data and information was collected on the mode of rural tourism: tourism and a scale of assessment of the socio-economic benefits of the families. The questionnaire obtained valid for 81.4% and 78.6% driveability and rating scale, received valid for 83.2% and reliability, 85.0%. The results were: 227 people who constituted the sample study, 100% developed tourist activities, of which 59,1% developed tourist activities with nature (rides boats, hiking, observation of flora and fauna, Butterfly) and 40,9% of cultural type (folklore, crafts, culinary traditions and dances). With regard to the socio-economic benefits, 62.1% of the inhabitants were considered as favorable and 37.9% unfavorable. To determine the relationship between the mode of rural tourism: tourism and socio-economic benefits in the families of the communities of Padre Cocha, Boras of San Andrés and Manacamiri, was used the statistical test of Chi square, with an α = 0.05; where he was obtained a X2c = 2,63, df = 1, p = 0,1071; the results indicate that statistically significant relationship between both variables of study there is no. These findings are presented as an alternative to strengthen the capacities of human and the promotion of micro-enterprises ethnotourism in rural communities, with the aim of improving the living conditions of the settler to local, regional and national levels.
