Estado nutricional en pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo 2, hospitalizados en el servicio de medicina interna del Hospital Regional de Loreto enero - junio 2016

Abstract

En la presente investigación se evaluó el estado nutricional de los pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo 2 hospitalizados en el Hospital Regional de Loreto durante Enero a Junio del 2016. Se empleó historias clínicas de 81 pacientes hospitalizados, se obtuvo las variables socioeconómicas, mediciones antropométricas, glucosa, insuficiencia renal crónica y tiempo de enfermedad. Se efectuó un análisis descriptivo y correlacional entre el estado nutricional con la insuficiencia renal crónica y el tiempo de enfermedad. El 48.1 por ciento presentaron un IMC normal, pero se encontró un alto porcentaje de pacientes con exceso de peso: sobrepeso (32.1 por ciento) y obesidad (9.9 por ciento). La mayoría de los pacientes hospitalizados padecen de diabetes mellitus tipo 2 entre 5 y 9 años que viven con este tipo de enfermedad (30.9 por ciento), del cual el 17.0 por ciento tienen IMC normal. No se encontró relación entre el estado nutricional y el tiempo de enfermedad. En el análisis de los pacientes hospitalizados con diabetes mellitus tipo 2 que tienen IRC, el 23.5 por ciento presentan IMC normal. No se encontró relación entre el estado nutricional y la IRC.

The current research evaluated the nutritional state of patients with diabetes Mellitus type 2, patientshospitalized in the Internal Medicine Service of the Regional Hospital from Loreto on January and June 2016. Medical histories from 81 hospitalized patients were use don this research. It obtained Socioeconomic variables, anthropometric measures, glucose, deficiency renal chronic and Time desease.The research made a descriptive and correlational analysis between the nutrional state, the deficiency renal chronic and time desease.The 48.1% gave a normal IMC but the research found a high percentage on overweight patients. Overweigt patients (32.1%) and Obesity (9.9%). Most of the hospitalized patients suffer diabetes Mellitus type 2 between 5 to 9 yeans old who have this kind of desease (30.9%) which 17 % have normal IMC. It did not find a relationship between the nutritional state and the time desease. On the analysis from hospitalized patients with diabetes Mellitus type 2 who have IRC, the 23.5% have normal IMC. It did not find a relationship between the Ntritional state and deficiency renal chronic (IRC).
