Introduction. HIV/AIDS causes over 3 million deaths worldwide annually, so that the strategies adopted to address the epidemic are focused on preventing new infections and the development of drugs directed against the virus. However, the application of an effective pharmacovigilance allows us to know the safety profile of these drugs. Objective: To characterize the RAM's in patients with HIV/AIDS receiving HAART. Methodology: A descriptive study - prospective in which 230 patients participated HAART program Garayar Cesar Garcia hospital between March and August 2012. Results: 230 patients were included, there was a ram's frequency of 32% equal to 74 patients, of which the male predominance with 69%. Anemia 22%, dizziness 19%, headache 15% were the most frequent. According seriousness and causality of the ram's were "not serious" and "set" respectively. Zidovudine is the drug that has produced a greater number of ram's. According to disease stage, treatment time scheme and the ram's were more frequent at the "AIDS" to schema "Special I" during the first quarter of treatment. Conclusion. The drugs used in HAART if they determine the characteristics of the DAR in patients with HIV/AIDS.
