The study was carried out in the “El Huayo” Arboretum of CIEFOR Puerto Almendra - FCF - UNAP, district of San Juan Bautista, Maynas province, Loreto region. The objective was to know the associations between total height, commercial height and diameter of the trees of the botanical families Chrysobalanaceae and Clusiaceae. The data of total height, commercial height and diameter (dap) of the trees of Hirtella racemosa Lam., Licania lata J. F. Macbr., Licania octandra Kuntze, Caraipa grandifolia Mart., Symphonia globulifera L.F., Tovomita spruceana Planch. & Triana with dap ≥ 10 cm. The results indicate that the variables total height, commercial height and diameter showed an association between them in the eleven allometric models for Licania lata J. F. Macbr., Licania octandra Kuntze, Caraipa grandifolia Mart., Symphonia globulifera L.F. In the botanical families Chrysobalanaceae and Clusiaceae, the allometric model that best suited the associations between total height, commercial height and diameter of the trees evaluated was the cubic one; finally, there is proportionality in the presence of the two botanical families studied in the Arboretum "El Huayo" - UNAP.
