This research paper reflects the importance of exports of ornamental fish being the largest exporter nationwide, this research seeks to analyze the productive factors and their influence on the exportable volumes of ornamental fish in the Loreto Region. Our independent variable, quality of the productive and technological factors (raw material, labor force, technological level of the machinery, and transportation costs), and the dependent variable, export volume of the companies, will have the study period for the years 2010 until 2016. Our theoretical framework adjusts to demonstrate the importance of international trade and how important it is to know the production chain of ornamental fish exports. The results that we obtain, after processing and analyzing, the data obtained, with the main sources of data collection such as surveys, interviews aimed at exporting companies, reading monthly reports of the BCRP on exports from the Loreto Region, review of specialized bibliography. In conclusion, with the analysis of these variables it was found that the fishing sector, specifically the activity of ornamental fish shows a collapse in its exports in recent years, due to a contraction in the international demand for ornamental fish it was also determined that companies said they have maintenance programs for their equipment and fish tanks and also comply with them; however, this does not correspond to the commonly established technical procedures on maintenance.
