In the Amazon biome there are aquatic ecosystems capable of providing relevant information on the limnological dynamics of their waters. This dynamism is easily identifiable in smaller scale water bodies such as micro-watersheds; and it occurs in short periods of the day, being sensitive to diel variations caused by the photoperiod and by the seasonal influence of the Amazon. This work was carried out in a stream tributary of the Nanay River in the buffer zone of the Allpahuayo Mishana National Reserve in the Loreto Region - Peru. The objective was to determine in the records of some limnological data, the diel variations in seasonal periods in an Amazonian stream and its relationship with precipitation. Limnological data (temperature, electrical conductivity, pH, dissolved oxygen) were recorded in periods of high and low rainfall along diel periods. The results show dependence of all recorded parameters on photoperiod, with the exception of electrical conductivity. In this study, precipitation was determinant in the difference of values obtained during the seasonal sampling periods, with the exception of dissolved oxygen, which reported similar data for both periods. In addition, it is presumed that the rainfall reported during sampling had an influence on the low levels of dissolved oxygen found in the stream studied in both periods. Within the study, it was also possible to observe the influence of phytophysiognomy in the seasonal and diel variation of limnological parameters in the stream, being the forest cover and soil type key in the dynamics of this aquatic ecosystem studied.
