In diets for chicken meat production, lysine is an essential amino acid for the production of muscle protein and must be supplemented to meet the requirements and obtain optimum performance of the bird. In the present work of investigation, the effect of the addition of two levels of lysine in diets on the productive parameters for broiler chickens until 21 days of age in the district of Lagunas was evaluated. This research work was carried out in Villa Lagunas, district of Lagunas, province of Alto Amazonas, Loreto Region, which is 144 meters above sea level, with an average annual temperature of 25 ° C. We used 96 chickens of the Cobb 500 line from the first day of birth to 21 days of age, in 12 experimental units of 1m2 at a density of 8 chickens per m2. The Completely Randomized Design (DCA) was used with 3 treatments and 4 repetitions per treatment: lysine levels were used for T0 (01.10%), T1 (1.20%) and T2 (1.30%). An analysis of variance (ANVA) was carried out and when a significant difference was obtained in the evaluated parameters, a Duncan mean comparison test was performed at 0.05 probability. The variation in lysine levels up to 21 days of age showed a significant difference (P> 0.05) in live weight T0 (939.6 g.), T1 (937.1 g.) and T2 (954.4 g.), weight gain T0 (890.0 g.), T1 (887.8 g.) and T2 (905.3 g.) and feed conversion T0 (1.47), T1 (1.47) and T2 (1.42). No significant difference (P <0.05) was found in the variation of lysine levels in food consumption T0 (1,382.1 g.), T1 (1,382.2 g.) and T2 (1,356.5 g.). Being the T2 with a level of 1.30% of lysine the best response, so it is recommended to use this level until 21 days of age.
