Microalgae have great potential as a raw material for various purposes, including nutraceutical production, these products are marketed as food or supplements that provide benefits to humans. However, there is no research in the Peruvian Amazon regarding the nutraceutical composition of native microalgal strains, so the objective of this research was to evaluate the nutraceutical composition of microalgal strains. The microalgal strains were grown in BG-11 medium, with constant aeration, at a temperature of 26 ° C, a photoperiod of 12h: 12h (light / dark) and a light intensity of 100 μE. m². S-¹, for a month. After this time, the harvest was carried out for nutraceutical assessments and identification. The results showed that Arthrospira platensis contained essential amino acids and B-carotene, Arthrospira maxim showed antioxidant activity, essential amino acids, B-carotene and Chlorophyll a. Chlorella sp. I have antioxidant activity, total phenols, violaxanthin, chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b. Scenedesmus sp 2 showed phenolic content and Tetraselmis sp. showed essential amino acids. In conclusion, time and culture conditions are factors that influence the production of nutraceuticals in microalgal strains.
