The objective was to determine the relationship between the quality of infirmary attention and the level of satisfaction of patient with Diabetes Mellitus Type II of 30 to 70 years of both sexes, assisted in Emergency of the Hospital it is HEALTH of the city of Iquitos in the year 2014. The used method was the quantitative one and the non experimental design of type correlational, traverse. It was conformed it by 45 patients and the sample for the population's 100%. The technique was the interview .To evaluate the quality of infirmary attention, was the instrument the questionnaire of the pattern servqual, structured with 22 questions (validity 81,0% y dependability of 78,0%), and to evaluate the patient's satisfaction a questionnaire it was used structured with 10 questions (validity 80,0% dependability 77,0%). For the statistical analysis, was the descriptive statistic used as absolute and relative frequencies (%), and for the inference the statistical test Squared Chi (X2), with α =0.05 with a level of trust of 95%. The package statistical employee was the (SPSS), version 19,0.Resultados: pensioners were assured (33,0%), of the group bigger mature (69%), masculine sex (62%), time of illness of 31 to 40 years (40,0%) and (60,0%) they referred to have abandoned its treatment. In quality of infirmary attention (66,6%) they referred that the attention was faulty, the aspects evaluated negatives were in reliability, with (91.1%) the infirmary personnel should assist the patient respecting the order of his arrival, in security (88.9%) that the personnel of Infirmary should trust that the atmospheres are aseptic, free of microorganisms patogens with high infection risk, finally in empathy (82.2%) that in a good service of hospitalization the personnel of Infirmary should go with respect and kindness to the patient. In satisfaction (80,0%) they referred to be unsatisfied with the received attention, the aspects in those that more they felt unsatisfied they were with (77.8%) the entrance facilities of family, with (73.3%) in security (emergency exits, signaling, warnings) and (71.1%) that the attention to the patient should be respecting the order from its arrival to Emergency. Conclusion: When establishing the relationship between the quality of infirmary attention and the level of satisfaction it was obtained been statistically significant (p = 0.001) for α = 0.05.
